JR Computing Services is the Region’s Newest Computer Support Service.

JR Computing Services is a Peterborough-based company that provides mobile in-house computer services and website design. Its extensive range of services include the creation and maintenance of internet web sites, PC security, virus protection/control, training and providing optimum performance processing at the personal computer level.

Owner Ron Ricketts brings 25 years of experience in computer technologies and customer service disciplines. Specializing in Microsoft Windows operating systems, Adobe and Windows .net products, JR Computing Services can provide services to a wide range of clients, both residential and commercial.

”Each time an individual logs onto the internet, it’s a risk to the computer,” Ron says. “Many of the systems I’ve seen are ill equipped to deal with the multitude of malicious code accessible on the internet. My goal is to secure my clients’ computers through automation to greatly minimize the chance of infection, and to have their computers optimized to their peak levels of performance.”
